The Giant E+4 grips are different than the E+2 in that the controller is different and does not seem to be integrated with the grip. I cannot figure out how to remove them. Has anyone done it? Any advice will be appreciated. thanks.
There are only two types of handlebar grips; ones that rely on friction to grip the handlebar, and lock-on grips that are held in place with one or two lockrings. If there are no lockrings with hex key fasteners, then your bikes has friction grips. Here is how to remove and replace handlebar grips:
