Hey brother for what it’s worth you should go with a female connector on battery side, thats where power is flowing from, protects it better and not as exposed. Male on motor. Just a suggestion.
I replaced the Anderson connector but still no luck with the Inotrace controller. When my new WattWagons Hydra’s get here I think I’m going to sell the CC.
I should’ve updated this post. The problem has been solved it was actually Bafang who was responsible. there are more than 30 motors I know of that have come out of the factory with these wires stripped. You have to tear the case apart before you can find them. depending on how bad the wires are grounding the problem gets worse. Also the Innotrace controller is more sensitive to this grounding than the standard Bafang controller. In other words my motor was working fine with these stripped wires however when the Innotrace was installed it would not work. I have heard from other people with the same problem who had their Bafang controller fail as well.
i’m not sure if the Bafang controller was not working to its full potential but after it was fixed with the Innotrace the difference was very noticeable in performance.
