I recently purchased a Aventon Level most biking trails that are near me that I like require going on the highway so I needed a way to put my new bike on the back of my car. I am tired of pulling the front wheel and getting the inside of my car messed up. My old bike rack was not made for anything more than 30 pounds I began my search and I quickly found out just about anything that was good was unavailable due to the covid pandemic, it seem like everyone (myself included) is now into biking. After watching many YouTube videos and reading online reviews I decided to order the the KAC K2 Overdrive Sport Hitch. It’s designed for 2 bikes but can easily be switched to just 1 bike if I’m traveling solo. It has a 2” receiver so it will mate well with my Outback. I really can’t review it yet but I will once I put it threw a few days use. Amazon has it for $399.99 so with tax my cost would of been around $435 a bit over my budget. I did a search and found a seller in Florida (electricboardingco.com) they had it for $359.99 Free shipping and no tax plus I also found a $10 off code (EBC10) so I placed my order and I saved around $85 over using Amazon.

I guess we don’t have 1st amendment rights on this forum and that’s a shame. PC police is the first step in destroying Democracy.

Does the KAC K2 have an optional ramp? I can't lift my 65 lb e-bike because of my bad back.
It's a hoop style, so no. You have to lift the bike wheels in. I have a very similar sport rack, and I just lift the front wheel in first, then the back wheel.

But if that's not an option, maybe look at the cheap dirt bike carriers from princess auto or harbor freight in the US. They are about the same price as the more affordable bicycle racks, and come with ramps.

Thanks, I like the looks of the Harbor Freight carrier. I wish I new about it before I bought my Super Duty 1UP. The only inconvenience of the Harbor Freight or Princess Auto carriers is that you need to spend some extra time securing the bike using tie-down straps.

I also have a Level and we're getting the step through version for my wife. Like you, I bought this same rack. Am having the hitch put on my car this weekend...can't wait to try it all out. How do you like this rack?

Yes, that's an issue, but if you are reasonably handy or have a handy friend, and you could find a cheap generic hoop rack off the classifieds to scavenge for parts, it wouldn't take more than 2 bolts to secure the vertical locking post to the dirt bike carrier to make it a little easier to use.
