folding pedals

My folding bikes have folding pedals, but I've not used them on a regular bike. I worry that they won't last if stood on, not that I do much standup pedaling on an ebike. To prevent theft, some people like quick release pedals.

Sometimes they get bumped and fold up while you are pushing the bike, or when you get off and you don't notice it until you go to take off. That's what happens to me and the Radmini.

harryS.......well, I have been using these....the same ones.....for at least ten years and they have had everything and are rock solid. It surprises me. I mean, you'd think, yes, but that casting will break or something, but not at all in my experience.
