Hi all

looking for touring ebike, multi days tours on gravel roads and rail trails, some days riding 100 km+. One bike in Australia often recommended by dealers is the focus aventura. Yet when I try and find feedback from real users and ebike tourists there is very little information available. Even on this forum very little feedback.

there are lots of users recommending cube Kathmandu.

if anyone here can suggest why focus adventure is a better option I would be very interested

I took a look at the specs online and it looks to be fairly well-equipped. They also mention that a range extender battery is available with either the 600 or 800kW battery for the Bosch CX system on this bike. The site also talks about unlocking 100Nm from the CX, which is a lot of power! You also have your choice of display. I like all the flexibility here in choosing your bike.

I don’t know how this compares with the Cube bike. I think the Cube is using a different Bosch motor option, which might be a factor for you.

Good luck with your choices. I hope you can find a dealer to try one out at. For me, having a dealer network would be a big plus. While there are Cube stores, I couldn’t figure out if there were dealers.
