Firmware update on Mastermind app for 2022 Vado 5.0 IGH

Hey all, this morning I had a notification that my bike required a firmware update that had to be done at the dealer. I thought firmware updates could be done by the owner these days? Does anyone know if this is possible, or do I really have to bring it to the dealer? Also, anyone know where I can find out the contents of the update? Thanks!
