Few pics of my stormer ST2

I posted that I purchased the ST2 in white a while ago, however, I called the shop and decided to buy the black color instead. Fits my taste and style a bit better. I took a few pics in my livingroom. It's just a beauty to admire, lol... I just ordered a few goodies online such as water bottle holder, bike lock, portable tool, cell phone case/holder, tool bag, portable tire inflator, helmet, etc etc. I have to find whats bags fit my luggage rack next since I tend to travel lightly with gym clothes, school stuff, etc. Can't make a decision on which bags to buy since I have to go to a bike shop to view what will fith my needs... Recommendations would be highly appreciated.

Check out our website for the Ortlieb (we like Ortlieb products as they are waterproof and well built). Trunk Bag. It locks onto the Stromer rack, is easy to take on/off, comes with a carry strap, and is waterproof. (Link Removed - No Longer Exists).

It may not be large enough for ALL your stuff but definitely a pair of sneakers and change of clothes. You can also visit Bike Bag Shop and look at the racktime bags. They too fit the Stromer rack.

I have had many bike bags in my lifetime, but the bag below is the best one ever. I looked a long time trying to figure out what might work best with my ST-2. I have a really good Jannd bag that worked easily, but one that had to be velcro-strapped on and off and it was a bit small in some respects. I finally ordered the bag below because the two side pockets folded out (if you wish) when completely unzipped and became small panniers. One side has net in it for exposure to the air while riding (think as in carrying a pair of shoes, something wet, or something you might wish to keep cool on the way home). Both pockets are deep enough to carry two wine bottles in each and they have a chorded keeper system that allows one to cinch up the load as you will. The main compartment is quite large and capable of holding a goodly amount of "stuff". Their is a zippered flap which velcro's close at the end of the bag, which is then covered with a large flap that fits very nicely via a quick release two buckle system. It all works together like a charm. The bottle holder on the end of the bag has a corded adjustment and I keep some tools and a pair of glasses for easy access...great bag; worth the money

I had to go out and try it with my battery, here's a pic. My sense is that while it will fit in the pocket, it would put too much stress on the bag as well as unweighting the bike from one side. It will not fit in the center compartment of the bag which would obviously be more ideal.

These bags are difficult to find in the US...I think that I got mine from velofred.com, BUT it came with the attached rack that fit the wider version of the racktime rack. I finally found on ebay Germany a vendor who sold the adjustable rack that will fit either the wide or narrow version of the racktime racks. I of course had to take off the wide only version from velofred and replace it with the adjustable version. My thinking is that if you order from the German website, the bag may come with the adjustable version of the rack?? If not, I liked the bag so much that it was worth the extra 30 dollars or so to replace the rack that came from Velofred, attached to the bag (4 screws). Shipping from Germany was much faster than I thought (a week or less, I think). 82.3 euros's is about 91.5 dollars. Simply Google euro's to dollars and you can easily determine the dollar price of any item given in euro's. I wasn't particularly happy to go this route at the time, but it turned out to be pretty easy and well worth the time and money invested. I hope this helps you a bit...

The Tourino is not the same bag, but it does look quite similar. The cost with shipping is $110 AND you have to buy a a rack adapter to make it all work because it doesn't come with one and I didn't see the adapter on Amazon. Velofred has the adapter for $45 but I think you might also have to spend $8 for the adapter that attaches to your rack so that the bag adapter can attach to that...I'm not sure. I rolled thru all of this on my way to getting the bag and I was able to buy the bag at a discount from Velofred (I think that they are now out of stock). If you can query the German website by e-mail, they should be able to tell you if their bag has the adjustable rack that fits both the wide/narrow racktime rack. The stock "city kit" on the Stromers have the "narrow" version of the racktime rack. Either way you will have to look into the rack adapter and how it works. As I remember, the postage charge for shipping my rack adapter from Germany was fairly reasonable and it works like a charm on the narrower rack. I got a bit of help on this forum originally which put me onto the German ebay and explained in some detail how to adjust the feet to fit the narrow version of the rack. As much of a pia it was at the time, it was well worth the aggravation...cheers

Thanks, I'll look into the German side and get it from them just to be secured. Looks like the perfect bike bag too. Shopping online can be confusing because you're not actually physically seeing the item, touching it, testing it, and asking questions... I just a few dollars on Amazon buying a few goodies for my ST2

I had the same problem...wished that I could have seen, touched, and examined the bag in a shop, but I found nothing quite like it and it seemed perfect for the Stromer, so I took a chance and ended up very pleased in the end. The thing that I like about it the most is that I keep stuff in the outside pockets that I can simply dump into the main compartment if I want to one as a pannier piece. Otherwise it simply resembles a normal trunk bag, albeit with a little more room and a lot more functionality...good luck

Thx for checking the battery, I use Ortleibs on the side , it fits but leaves me slightly unbalanced.
