Feedback Wanted - Jacket for Legs

Hey there guys,
I was reading some of topics on this forum and i think you are the right people to ask- a lot of bike-people enthusiasts :D
It's a jacket for legs meant to protect the user against rain. It's easy to use, just like any jacket, but for legs instead of upper body. We made a landing page and a short video to prove the point.
Since people like you guys are some of our future users we would really like some feedback from you for the product we developed.
What is your general opinion on the product? Would you find it useful?
What would you improve?
Would you use such a product? If not, who would you recommend it to?
I know that this is my first post here, but we really appreciate your feedback; it will help us a LOT in succesfuly re-launching our product. (yeah, we kind of failed the first time)
Thanks :D :D

They look nice. Sales would depend on reviews and price point. Rain gear that doesn't leak can be hard to get right, especially when you add full length zippers.

Marmot has been doing full length zip rain pants for a long time. They have both men's and women's styles for best fit.

Because the front of your legs take the brunt of the moisture I have often considered a set of chaps of some sort that could be truly waterproof and not need to be breathable. They would be easy to take on and off and stash on the bike when not in use. Then you have your feet to consider as all that moisture drains down there and of course your jacket which is the key to maintaining your core temp. A helmet cover also is to be considered. Oh, and a good set of fenders!

Side zip pants are hardly new. The problem with using rain paints of any sort while exercising is that they don't breathe and quickly turn into a sauna. It's a problem that has been around as long as people have been riding bikes, usually solved by people using a cycling cape or getting wet. I don't get a lot of rain where I live, but I've been interested in these for a while, they'd be great for snowfall as well.

If you don't pedal your ebike, rain pants are great.

agreed. I've not found anything that lets me do work without becoming a sweaty oven. As I often overheat, anything covering my legs while still letting them breath is much better. Even rain soaked. FWIW

Thanks for the feedback!

Well, we have two versions - a standard and a high performance from Sympatex. Both of them are breathable.

Great idea, but as a plump man that needs an xxl waist and only 30-32 inseam, seems like I would be out of luck. Perhaps they could be hemmed by a local seamstress.

My step-dad owned a men's clothing stores, the number of sizes of blue-jeans he had to carry was just amazing.
