Fazua E50 extra battery carrier

I have a Trek Domane+ with Fazua E50 battery. I bought an extra battery and the battery bag, but attaching it to the top tube is not working, as it slips and hits my legs. I think it would fit in my vertical-tube water bottle cage, but needs a different bag for that. Anybody solved this problem? Thanks.

Do you use a bag, or just put it in the carrier by itself?

Not got that figured out just yet lol! I have a canvass zippered bag but it is not a good fit so still looking at the moment
