Faulty monitor on Specialized Turbo Como

The monitor on my Turbo Como (2017 model) went out. It has been in the shop for over a month. It seems the original monitor is no longer available. So the bike shop recommended an upgrade to a TCD-W Display retrofit kit (Part # S199900067) But apparently it is not available either.
does anyone have a suggestion?
Is it possible to ride without the monitor And get pedal assist?
Any help will be appreciated

I don't know it is possible to ride without display on your Como, and it has to be an American user of an older Como to confirm.
If you could get the TCD-w kit (it requires a little conversion of the bike by the technician), you would effectively have got a 2020 Como, which I would really recommend to you.
