Fast Ebike - Loud Wind In the Ear - Hearing Loss?

My right ear can't hear anything.. I already did 3 hearing test and the ENT didn't tell me which condition i suffer now the refer me to audiology.. i am confused.
Made an appointment with the ear wax removal doctor and hope that can change the situation at least a little. I always had a lot of ear wax build up, but for some reason thing that is not the reason behind the hearing loss this time.

I did the AirStreamz XL cat ears cycling wind noise reducer on my Fox helmet back in 2017, Amazon, $15. It just attaches in front of my ears on the chin strap. I work commute on a Class II Radrover at 55-65 miles per week at 17-22 mph range (top speed of 24-28 mph on downhill runs). I also were a skull cap in winter that covers my ears. We sometimes get very stiff spring winds of 15-20 mph with gust +25 mph. I haven't noticed any issues or feeling too hot in summer using cat ear style noise reduction.

I find it annoying too, wind noise. I use hearing protection under my motorcycle helmet and my e bike helmet too. I use the yellow 3M disposable ear plugs. When they stop expanding i toss them and grab a new pair. They last a long time before that happens and I even will wash them if they get grimy. A box of 30 pairs lasts me years. Anytime the noise is bothering you are at risk of hearing damage.

I was considering those but they're $30 or more for a little piece of fabric.

I found a video about the cat-ears.
I'm going to make my own pair.

+1 on the Cat Ears. They work perfectly if you don't mind a pair of black sideburns. My wife dyed hers blonde to match her hair color.

found wind noise to be quite annoying especially as i bike along river and it's usually extra windy, got the cat ears based on recs from their forum and they work great. almost an odd type of quiet sometimes but i like them.

i bought the standard cat ears off amazon, if i got a do-over i would have got the "slim" version because they are definitely more puffy than i would have guessed. i was nervous the slim wouldn't work as well but as long as they are tight to your face on your strap they just divert the wind and i think slim would work just fine. it's pretty cool if you lift them up to hear how loud the wind is without them.

My Fox Rampage helmet covers my ears well enough the wind can't get to them.
I do wear earplugs some to avoid the excessive noise ambulances & police cars make. I can still hear the wind noise of a car coming up behind me. My hearing was flat up to 14 khz in 2008, pretty unusual for a 58 year old male. I've used ear plugs in high noise situations. ever since the Army gave them to me at summer camp 1969. Breaking all the high frequency hairs in your ear doesn't hurt. Most US males do that by age 12. Listening to and creating music is a major hobby of mine, and I didn't want to give up the high frequency portion just because I use power tools or worked in a factory. 14 khz to 20 khz was ruined by the Army in 1969 even with ear plugs.
Lucky you. When I was in the army (61--63) they did nothing to protect hearing for us grunts. Not that I was subjected to a lot of gunfire--being a clerk-typist as I was. But I have had plenty of exposure to power tools, including chain saws. But after the horse was out of the barn, I did start wearing ear muffs in the shop. I don't notice excessive noise on the bike, however, even with hearing aids.
