Experience with Specialized Air Tool MTB Mini hand pump or CPRO2 CO2 gauge trigger?

Got two near me, the topeak comes with the mount you are looking for. I do not know if the length could be an issue....

Length is definitely an issue. But the 7.2" Topeak Gravel 2Stage looks promising:

Its high-volume mode (0-50 psi, 71 cc/stroke) looks like a good match for the 38 mm tubeless tires I run at 35-40 psi. Too bad it only comes with a side-mount — like all the Specialized mounts I saw. Maybe the third-party centerline mount you linked would work.

Getting the impression that this insistence on a centerline pump mount makes me a dinosaur on yet another front.

Good point. Who knew that finding the right pump for my vision of this bike would be so complicated?
I'm glad you bought the CO2 inflator. "In a very improbable situation of total pressure loss" you are fully covered! Let me tell you how come I resigned from the tubeless.

Late Autumn last year, I decided I needed to replenish the sealant in my Vado SL wheels. I did it successfully back in August so I had no worries about that. Unfortunately, I released all he air from the tyre, and the bead fell off the rim! A person willing on tubeless wheels at home should own one of these items:
  • A compressor with a Presta nozzle, or
  • An electric pump that can guarantee a high pressure burst, or
  • A high pressure canister that is pressurised with a large floor pump, or
  • A CO2 inflator.
I owned none, so with my greatest disgust and a lot of mess I had to go back to inner tubes :)

Regarding the pressure gauge, my skeptical and frugal brother bought an Airmax Pro to his delight! :)
