Evo 29

I'm a first-time ebike shopper and strongly considering the Evo 29. Any opinions or data points on this model? Any similar bikes I should make sure to try out before committing?

My specifics: 20-mile round trip commute on gravel, every weekday. I'm a tall guy of average build; I've been doing the commute on a standard hybrid for months now. Planning to use it as my sole means of transportation. The longest route I'd want to ride with any regularity is 40 miles or so, and I want to sustain 20 mph during rides. I like the throttle option but plan to pedal pretty much all the time.

I've tried out the Specialized Turbo, last year's mountain bike Evo, a Stromer ST1, and a handful of others.

Thanks for your thoughts!

By the way, that Evo 29 is extremely good looking!

40 mile one way on this 29er can be challenging. It's a great bike but riding ~ 20mph, you're looking at 30-35 miles using 12Ah battery.
I suggest you look at OHM XU-700/165. http://ohmcycles.com
Has more battery capacity than Easy Motion 29er, Stromer ST1 platinum and Specialized Turbo.

Hey folks, thanks for the helpful input. I looked into some other options (suggested here and otherwise) and did a lot more reading. I ended up buying the Evo 29er today. Happy to answer questions about it.
