Took the plunge yesterday and bought my wife the same Turbo Vado 4 as myself, to replace her Raleigh Motus. Only difference is it’s the step through model and It must be about the only one available in the UK in medium size at the moment! Found it in an LBS and it’s a nice Forest green colour!
Now she has no excuses for not keeping up with me
Also has the benefit if I want to go on a longer tour on my own...I can take a spare battery - need to find a suitable bag to carry it.

So you're off on your tour and your wife at home can't ride her bike? That would never fly in my household! Fortunately my wife rides a Trek Verve+ so it'll never be an issue.

Not exactly designed specifically for it. I made a few mods so my PowerTube 500 would fit and I’m using the largest size. It only works on top of the tube but it’s very solid. Plus you can use it to carry cold food and beer! Its a really good all-purpose bag.

So you're off on your tour and your wife at home can't ride her bike? That would never fly in my household! Fortunately my wife rides a Trek Verve+ so it'll never be an issue.

No! No! No! Not at all, it’s great when she comes with me but she has other commitments which is when I take the opportunity to go out on longer 50+ mile routes on my own.
She will probably want to go out on HER own when she gets her new bike...might even find she has borrowed MY battery!
