ENVO D35, what are your thoughts on this Canadian made ebike? If I were comparing it to the Bulls Cross E which would you recommend? Thank you

I just bought an Envo Step-Thru online, which is the equivalent of a D35. I wanted a Canadian-made bike, and this fit the bill. I am unfamiliar with Bulls Cross E, and it wasn't on my shopping list, but the D35 stacked up nicely against the competition. Priced well, good power, etc. Mine is back ordered, won't arrive until late July. My bike is here:

D35 is the same price, almost identical:

Thorough reviews are lacking, but this guy had some nice things to say:

I chose Envo over iGo Elite II (250lb. load limit) and Devinci E-Griffin (pricey). Looking forward to riding it.

I tried my friend's Bulls Cross E and Radcity and they were pretty good, but when I tried the D35 it fit me better and I decided to go for it. Absolutely no regrets, I love it. I mostly commute but have hit a couple of trails and it's just so much fun and feels really secure.

I just got my Envos a few weeks ago. Me, the step thru version and my friend got the D35. We researched thoroughly and didn't just buy them because they were engineered and built here in BC though that is a perk for sure to support a BC business. We found the bikes to be leading in many categories through our comparisons before we bought. We have ridden them a few times now and boy we are thrilled. HIGHLY recommend.

I agree, the ENVO ST is a fantastic ebike. I am 66 and haven't ridden a bike in about 15yrs, so it took me a little bit of time to get back into the swing of things, but it's a solid bike, well built and easy to ride. Just take a little time to get familiar with the LCD display, gear shifting and of course the throttle and pedal assist, and you should be good to go. I practiced on a country road at my cottage so I didn't have to worry about traffic and could bed in the brakes. Love the ST, at my age it's difficult to get the legs over the bar on a regular D35. Bought from https://ebikebc.com/product/envo-step-thru-ebike/ and they were great at helping me with the assembly and it shipped from BC to Ontario in about a week. I love the fact that it's built in Canada.
