I want to install HB end mirror, I have the ergonomic/paddle type grip which I like. If I install end mirror I have to cut the grip end? Will that cause help to rotate? Thanks

I've tried the bar end mirrors and found that they're just in the wrong places. You sit up so high on an E-MTB that you have to take your eyes off the road to glance down to the mirror(typically left or both sides). After a lot of trial and error, I went to a helmet mirror, which didn't require too much to get used to. You set it up to look at your left ear and from there, it's just minor tweaks to get the view to where you need it. I'm waiting for an EVT mirror which is about 2 1/4" in diameter and which will give me a much better view of what's behind me. There's really no blind spot either, because the mirror sits about 30 degrees offset from your left eye and doesn't interfere with what's ahead of you. You really appreciate it when you lean your bike up against something or it falls over and you haven't broken your mirror.
