Ebike Recommendations

I'm 60 years old, 5' 1" and interested in purchasing a step-thru ebike. I'd like to spend less than $2,500. and will ride recreationally on paved and gravel trails, with some city commuting. I'd prefer an ebike with a throttle; however, it's not mandatory. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and we have several bike stores that sale name brand (Giant, Trek) ebikes without a throttle. The only store we have that sales ebikes with a throttle is Pedago. Which ebikes would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

I think this is the last day to order a Turbo Como 4.0 on sale for 2345.49 after rebate. It's available in a small. Going to be way better than anything else you can find for $2500 or less. It's a lower step that the Vado 4.0 and more relaxed riding position:

I would call Las Vegas Cyclery (do it NOW before the sale ends, don't look a gift horse in the mouth) and see what your options are for ordering and returns if it doesn't suit you:

It should be noted Nancy has already posted once and some of these suggestions have already been made.

Nancy, my advice would be to order the Como 4.0 (TODAY) from specialized.com before the sale/rebate ends. Looks like if you order online you get a 15 days Click & Collect Return Policy as long as the bike is in new/unused condition. Guessing you can ride it around your neighborhood for a few miles and still return it. Worst case you will be able to sell it for close to what you paid after the sale ends.

P.S. The Como does not have throttle but you do not need a throttle unless you have medical issues.

Does it have a throttle?
The Pace does have a throttle and comes in a small frame size. I think it would be a good starting point as well.

The Como is a great deal although you'll be looking at a little over your budget unless they somehow don't charge sales tax where you are.
