Easy Motion Evo City Pro Crank arm

I just got my Evo City Pro and the left crank arm looks like something is missing. Can someone confirm this is how it is suppose to fit or if something is missing. There is a large gap and it looks like that is going to get a lot of dirt and junk in there.

They forget to put a sleeve cover there. Take it to dealer they’ll have it fixed.

I'm not sure anything is missing. Does your bike have Shimano HollowTech bottom bracket and cranks? This would be printed on the crank arm nearer the pedal:



Here's my Evo 29'er with HollowTech:



Looks to me very similar. There's no sleeve or spacer. I think possibly the arm is just not tight.

This is how mine’s looks like. And looks like there is a black aluminum cover in there ?
Actually it looks exactly like the other pics posted earlier on J.R. post.

So probably he’s right and is just not tight enough and what looks like black on mine’s is due to debris/dirt and maybe it looks just the same if cleaned . But i do keep mine’s pristine.
