E007

Hi everyone, new here and really enjoying the bike and feel I know you all after having been reading the forum for the long lead time to get the bike.

Everything was working fine ...till it wasn't. I have searched the forum to no availability.

It started with an E007 after about 50 miles. I stopped, it restarted fine. Then it was more and more frequent, for instance I was going strong and it was blinking E007 for a second and stop the motor, then starts again, etc.

Till now when it is E007 all the time. I have checked the connectors I could locate : one by the rear wheel to the motor, 3 by the controller, and made sure they were aligned and I used some dielectric grease as suggested in a video. Also checked all the connections in the frame to the brain of the bike. All seems fine, but stillI have this E007 as soon as I engage the motor.

Any suggestion before I reach out to them as well?

Thanks and happy riding!

I had the same code too and reached out to Lectric and they sent me a new motor controller. I was riding for 3-4 hours using throttle a lot in extreme heat and humidity on on a really hilly path which is why I think my motor controller went out. Not enough cool air flow to the controller packed into the bike when being used for 3-4 hours going up different grades of steep hills. I think the motor controller just got burnt out. What was your riding situation before the code came on?
