Narrowing down details of what I need in a first time ebike purchase, I've strayed over to the build it yourself world. I have some old school bike building experience from when I was younger but am in no way an expert. Besides that was a very long time ago & the most I know about electricity is don't stick one of your moms bobby pins in the electrical socket. I had no desire to invest the time to build my own & was set on ponying up to buy either a purpose built or professionally modified set up.
