I have an X3 Pro from the April 2021 batch. I recently had to have my controller replaced and now when the bike is idle it always shows 16W. Wallke told me this is normal, it's a standby, like TV's and such. Before I replaced the controller it always read 0W. Anyone else showing 16W always when idle?

Nobody? That's great. I will be selling my X3 Pro with only 322 miles over the first year and moving on to a more reputable bike. When I got this bike (April 2021 batch) it performed fairly well. Speeds up to 25 MPH on just pedal assist. When I lost pedal assist and contacted Wallke, they sent me a new cadence sensor. No difference, so they sent me another cadence sensor. No difference. I suggested that it my not be the cadence sensor. They agreed to send me a new controller. Now it works but I can't go above 17 MPH with pedal assist. I need to use the throttle to get to barely 20 MPH. I have sent them emails trying to resolve this but since the no load test they had me perform shows 25 MPH they have stopped responding to me. *Buyer Beware*

I get a lot of attention because people love the look of the bike. I will not be recommending Wallke anymore and instead telling them my story. I know it won't make any difference but I hope others can avoid the same unfortunate mistake.

The 16W you mentioned indicates standby power consumption. When you causes the system to resume from standby, e.g. presses the power button, it is immediately turned on and they are restored to their normal, active operating modes. The standby power consumption was caused by the controller/code.

If you're not satisfied with this standby power consumption, we would love to get this experience turned around. Wolf will get in touch with you. He will help you.

Best,
Max @wallkeebike

Dang that sucks. I think the problem is that they don’t have set parts. And I think that’s why these bikes are sometimes deficient since you might be getting parts that are not corresponding with each other. I got sent a new motor in the very beginning and that fortunately fixed all of the major issues that I was having.

Also have you tried setting the wheel size to 22 i think? Or 24 I forgot what it was. And then try test riding it with a speed app.

E-bike parts are in High Demand this time. The parts may vary depending on the ongoing supply chain constraints in the eBike market. In some cases, you will receive the different brand of replacement parts.
Please don't concerned all parts have been carefully inspected to ensure they equal the performance standard of the products advertised.
