Display shows 0.0 volts?

Hi Folks,

Just bought a juiced CCS2 off craigslist. It had about 200 miles on it. It charged it up fine and had one ride which was very fun, and left for the weekend, leaving the battery at around 50% charge which seems to be what is recommended for leaving the battery at.

When I got back after the weekend (4 days), I plugged it in and the display showed 0.0 volts. The bike seems to have power (throttle worked), but the display showed completely dead. I charged it for an hour, plugged it back in, and still shows dead battery and 0.0 volts on the display.

I'll try charging to full capacity, but is this normal behavior? is there something that needs to be 'reset'? I hope I didn't buy a dead bike!

So I plugged it in this morning and it showed up fully charged. Strange as I tried it two or three times last night with no luck. Seems to be working fine!

Always check with multimeter at connectors from the battery. Displays are notoriously off!
