Did I buy a 2020 Specialized Turbo Levo?

How can I be sure I was sold a 2020 model instead of a 2019? None of the paperwork I received, owner's manual, user manual or even the receipt, indicates the year of the bike. Is there a web site I can send the serial number to and find out?

What model Levo do u have? All of them were upgraded this year

I bought the basic Specialized Turbo Levo.

Assuming you bought a US model, it looks to me like the 2020 comes in Navy/White or Black/Lilac. The 2019 came in Black/Blue or Hyper/Black. What color did you get?

You can go on Specialized website and compare the technical specs between the 2019 and 2020. There are changes including the dropper seatpost, but only you can decide if the changes are worth the cost to upgrade for you.

Differences appear to be rear shock, rear tire, saddle, front fork, and dropper (in 2020 model). I'd say the dropper is the only notable difference. Personally, the 2020 Comp is the bike I'd get due to 700 WH battery and Lyrik fork, plus I just LOVE the look of the 2020 Comp in matte black with black lettering.

IMO when that many components are traded out/replaced on a new year model, there's a reason. I would opt for the latest model.
That said, I passed on a ''20 Giant for a '19. There was just not that many differences in the bike.

If the battery is much larger than the previous that could be the majority of the price difference.

Thanks for the responses, guys. This is my first e-bike so I am a novice although I have owned a Specialized mountain bike for 15 years. I did talk to a rep at Specialized and he thought the biggest difference between the 19 and 20 was the dropper post. I already added a dropper post to my 2019 so I decided to keep the bike. If I want to or need to the rep said I could add the 700Wh battery later. I also had a more comfortable saddle put on it (I'm an old timer). So I'm thinking I can ride the 2019 for a couple of years, learn what I can't live without, and upgrade at that time. It is an exciting time for e-bike development.
