Delite Touring in NZ

I saw this from an Auckland, New Zealand based eBike store. They're hosting a guy who biked the length of NZ on a Delite as part of the Tour Aotearoa route (Tour Aotearoa: Home) and then came back via the Sounds to Sounds route (Tour Aotearoa: Sound to Sound)

Impressive stuff!

I love that bike shops are engaging customers in a way like this -high engagement. I wish my LBS did this stuff.

Given that model probably only has a 650 Wh battery, how do people reckon he did the distances? There are some long stretches on those rides in wilderness areas.
