I shut down Kiox part way through a ride and screen went black before completing the sync process. Did not think an issue until I tried to refit kiox and resume ride and screen remained black and no motor/gears/lights. Battery about 45% prior to shutdown but kiox will not display anything even when removed from mount. Help from Bosch members please. Stephen

Been pondering changing from a Purion to a Kiox so this is good to know.
ave your money and get a nyon a much better investment. but so far I have not had any issues with the kiox. except you have to turn it on first before your heart rate monitor.

Save my money and get a what?
frigging spellchecker. Nyon get the Nyon its a better investment and let you adjust assist levels and gives you more info at once. as far as OI know neither will really pump data to anything but the bike connect app. the only thing my kiox gave me over my garmin is watts and how much is me and how much is the bike.

I just want to add cadence, my effort vs bike assist, and phone charging.🤓

I like the Kiox because it is small. I only use the cadence/power screen. Otherwise watching the road. Being able to adjust the assist levels would be a key feature, but I make dues with cadence and gears.

Glad you got your Kiox back in operation with no major failures. Back when the original 1GB Nyons were available on eBay, I bought a second Nyon as a spare just in case the first one fails. So far the only problem I have had with the Nyon is that the plastic trim ring that covers the edge broke for no reason. I saw it fall off and retrieved it off the trail, but it is now taped on with some black electrical tape ... doesn't look as pretty but still works great.

thats what you get. myself I think I=using a power pack to charge a phone is easier. power is the only thing that would cost to add to a garmen cadence is easy with a wireless sensor. I just wish it would sync with strava. but since every time you turn off the kiox it makes a new ride it would get messy.
