so i have a das-kit c7 on my bike. (new bike)(easybike mi5)

this one always starts in trip2, i believe that is normal.

all works okey, but if i use trip2, then it is counting.
but the miles are not added to the odo meter?

is that normal.

if i have it on trip1 it does add to the odo meter.

thank you.

That sure sounds weird. I don’t know anything about your bike, and mine only has one trip odometer… and all miles counted on the trip odo (which is resettable so you can measure your rides) count on the overall odometer, for sure.

I wonder if there is some setting on your bike that is preventing it from doing that… Good luck.

I have a aervice menu , but you cannot set any thing.

My problem is if i forget it stays on trip2

It will count but not de odo.
Als trip2 is always reset on restart so thats also normal

But you understand i use also for battery milea on 1 battery, that way it goes wrong hihu

This is the detail that I’ve found online. Are you saying that the “lifetime Odometer” is not adding on the miles that you are riding? That would mean something is wrong with your controller. Otherwise, you should see miles adding on to your "trip 1" and your “lifetime Odometer” regardless of whether you disconnect the battery.

Trip And Time Settings

On the same screen used to toggle your backlight and headlight off and on, press “Set” to cycle through your different odometers.
You can reset Trip 1 by pressing “Set” until Trip 1 is selected, then press and hold the Set button until Trip 1 flashes and changes back to 0.
Trip 2 and Time automatically run for each individual ride and can’t be changed. Your lifetime Odometer also can’t be changed.

and this is all correct what you say, i also found this.
but it is hard to explain, so i try to tell it other wise hihih.

so we all agree the message was typed before this one.
all you see also works like that on my bike and works perfectly. but.

if i leave it on trip2, it also counts, but it does not count the miles on the odo meter.

we all agree a odometer is to see how much miles has been driven with the lifetime of the bike.

its now so on my bike, if i would life time drive on trip2 on my bike.

my odometer would stay on count zero, it does not addup the miles and thats weird.

normally i would say why care.

i tell you, because the display always starts on trip2, so you have to set it always on trip1

if you forget you drive on trip2, we agree to that ? okey.
but as was told before , when the display is turned of and on, trip2 always resets, thats normal.
but odo is not counted with that miles. so if i would drive on the miles on my bike full charge life.
i cannot do that , because its missing the count of trip 2.

thank you in advance.

i also tried to find something about this, but i cannot find anyware , that this is normal.

this would besame if i would have that trip2 on my car, my odometer would be 0 on its lifetime. hihi.

Yeah, it’s definitely not working correctly, msxflash. Whether or not you leave it on “trip 2” the “lifetime odometer” should be showing miles accumulated.

Good luck.

yes indeed, its not big of a deal but tough maybe normal, but im still in contact with the seller. no responce yet.
but the bike is brandnew.

thank you.
