A Tale of Customer Service. A couple months ago, I bought a new Euphree City Robin X+ from Juiced Wheels, my local St Charles Missouri e-bike shop. I had various problems with the bike over the first 300 miles that I put on it on local trails. First was gear shifting not being quite right. Took it to the shop, and they adjusted it to solve the problem. A bit later, I had the same problem, and also noticed that turning the steering to the right, it seemed to bind on something. Ok, I took it back, and then things got interesting. Apparently, there was a significant wiring problem that they found, and spent days trying to fix it and re-wire the entire bike. They had not seen this before. They contacted Euphree who also said they had not seen this before. All we could figure was that there was an “error” in the wiring on the manufacturing level. The folks at Juiced Wheels were phenomenal. They did everything to try to solve the problem on the local level and at the same time keep me happy. They even offered me a free loner if I wanted to ride while waiting on my bike. The owner, Brett, kept apologizing for the problem. I told him to stop that. He didn’t cause the problem; he was the guy trying to fix the problem. Arwyn, in sales, seemed more upset about the problem than I was. After more conversations between the shop and Euphree, Euphree said don’t worry, and they would send out a brand new bike, including some free upgrades and accessories! Folks, I’ve been around long enough to know that stuff happens. And the real test of a company is not how they do when everything goes just right. Rather, how do they do when something goes wrong. The service and attitude of the people at Juiced Wheels was truly outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. The manufacturer, Euphree, stood up and completely backed their warranty (two years, btw). My complements to one and all. A class act all the way around.

100% true !

When my eBike (I bought mine through Amazon) developed a mega Hub problem, the Chines Company (the Manufacturer) I bought from immediately looked after me and much better then I would have ever imagined.
On the other Hand, A Female Friend of mine residing in north-central BC bought a new eBike from a Vancouver BC eBike Shop. Her Bike developed a problem 8 month later but the Shop she bought the Bike from could not care less.

If you purchase Local, be sure to talk to Customers which purchased from them before !

Cheers

Funny thing I find, in my own Business which I established in 1978 and still going strong, potential Customers often ask for References which is common in my Industry. I wonder what most Bike Shop Managers would do if one asks for References, my guess is he would show you the Door haha !

Cheers
