These are just wild guesses in no particular order. Feel free to add yours. Any brand, and only about ebikes. (I.e. no politics or slams of others ideas allowed). Just to have some fun...
+ more new brands will keep coming to US
+ more hub drive brands will adopt torque sensing
+ battery sizes, capacities will increase on more models
+ more brands will tout "100 mile ranges"
+ new diagnostic capabilities for dealers will be introduced by at least 5 ebike companies
+ one major ebike only brand will announce its own branded stores (Could be currently on on line only brand)
+price pressures will increase on mid drive brands, forcing them to lower pricing to keep sales from falling
+ more brands will further conceal batteries - I.e. even frame integrated batteries on the down tube, with partial exposure will go to near zero visible exposure.
+ rear safety cameras will start to appear on ebikes as part of display options.
+ new model of ebike with radical new drive train will be released that will be reasonably priced (Maybe be crowd funded to start)
+ 10 brands we have now will cease to exist. (Part of industry churn in still early days of ebike adoption here in US)
+ at least 5 brands will begin offering the 21700 format battery cells.
+ a newly released aftermarket mid drive will give stiff competition to the bafang series of mid drives.
