Convert a Hydra to an Urban Assault vehicle?

Is it possible to convert a Hydra into a city explorer/grocery getter like the Bulls Iconic?

Unfortunately not yet. The rear chainstays are not built to take vertical load so I'd not recommend mount anything on that.

the Hydra is a dream for me but in Portland I must imagine wet and mud and rain. perhaps a trailer for the groceries would be more effective. are robust fenders and option at this time?

Trailer is the only way to do it at the moment. No fender options at the moment. Our rear triangle is too low (as you can see) and we were not able to mount a fender securely.

If you want FS with chain + up to 27.5* 2.4 inch tire + rear rack. in titanium , please ping me. Its a special order item I have built for another customer. Works really well. The rack mount style is like the CC but I can make a custom fully suspended rack if you so want. I have a medium frame available right now.

If you want hardtail + fat tire, you can actually order the Crosstour (titanium) which we can build to do up to 4.8 inch tires.
