Is anyone familiar with a e bike repair shop that could replace a controller I bought from biktrix? I'm in Parry Sound ontario to help with suggestions. Apparently it needs a special tool is that correct? Thx j

Here is a link, with a video, that shows how to replace the controller. The company is telling you a special tool is needed and that a “qualified trained professional” is recommended to cover their behinds. The special tool is a Phillips screwdriver.

Heed the caution to turn on the bike AFTER you removed the battery. This will dissipate any voltage leftover in the controller.

I’m not saying that you need to do this yourself, I’m only advising you that it’s “not that hard”. If you don’t feel comfortable, then please bring it to shop.

The video is for a Stunner Lite. Not sure which version Stunner you have, but the process will be the same, unless you have a mid-drive motor.
