Controller dropping out

Have a Magnum cruiser that's several years old and am pretty happy with it however tge conttoller started dropping out and needing yo be reset only to immediately drop out again
Its mot a battery charge issue and tge connections dont appear to be fouled or faulty
Has anyone else run into this same issue ?

My brand new Engwe L20 Boost developed a problem where the pedal assist drops out occasionally. Switching the display off then on again clears the problem... until next time.

Engwe sent me a replacement torque sensor, but I haven't had a chance to fit it yet. They didn't explain why they thought it was the torque sensor.

Actually, the problem hasn't happened recently, which makes me think it may be related to low ambient temperature (it's summer here now). I guess I won't know the answer to that until the evenings start getting cold again later this year.
