I saw an old school law breaker today, a lad on a 450 motorcoss bike with no plates or helmet doing a one hand vertical wheelie down the main road.

It almost felt quaint.

One kid is highly disappointed that I will not show him how to jailbreak his bike so it will go 35 under throttle down a multi-use path with dog walkers and kids on strider bikes. If his parents want that then it is all on the internet and completely up to them. The crack down in my town is very real and parents are getting fined. I will not be associated with that.

It haunts me. Parents gave their kid the high speed throttle moto he wanted. He had a regular foam core, thin shelled bicycle helmet. When he crashed into a car it ran over his head and the parents had to go identify the body.

If I were the OC DA I would not punish. They suffered the worst punishment ever and will be haunted for life. They have been weeping as they go to public awareness events with the media and first responders. I think their last name is Apia. I cannot find the video I saw in May.
