Computer says nothing!!

Hi I i have recently purchased a used Scott Genius Plus ebike. I have had a couple of people test ride it and I have ridden it once. I have now cleaned, oiled and adjusted the pressures and ready to go. However I cannot get the bike to switch on. The battery is fully charged but the digital control unit is blank. If I push the battery power level button I do get the eco word come up on the screen but this disappears once the button is released. I have replaced the two button batteries, held the power button down for 10 seconds but still nothing. Please can anyone help?

Problem found and sorted! Removed a metal plate that i believe is to restrain some of the wiring and 'mechanic' that fitted the new engine had trapped and crushed the power control wire. So now new purion fitted and all good. I have also used black sealant around the engine cover to prevent (hopefully) the ingress of dirt and grit.
