Como Controller Hack

I don't think it's possible with the new software and display. At least not using any bluetooth hacks. I have researched options for the Vado. It's fairly well locked down now.
There are other 'devices' out there that will halve the pulses going back to the control system. No personal experience with them.

Interesting and thanks for the reply. I was curious because there is a well known way to do this on my Rover through the display functions. Guess they’ve figured a way to prevent that at Specialized.

There was a well known way for the Levo as well but specialized closed the back door with a software update. Now nothing is hackable without adding hardware.
At least you get 28mph. In Canada, we only get 20mph max on any ebike.
I rarely find the 20mph limit a problem so unless you are pushed for time and have a good commute route, I don't think it will bother you.

28mph is plenty for me. Mostly just curious.

Hello peeps!

I've got this: https://planet3.bike/

Maybe some of you would be interested. Specific models for Vado & Como (however, not for the Como models that come with Center Lock hubs/brake rotors, only 6-bolt). It just works, easily installed and removed if needed, doesn't void your warranty but also doesn't display correct speed & distance if staring at screens is your cup of tea. :)
