Commuter, roadie and mtbiker considering an ebike next

Hi everyone.

I’m seriously considering purchsing a Vado.

I have a few questions like, are there any concerns about the propriety nature of specialized?

also what’s the difference between the Vado 1.2 motor and the 1.3 motor?

I’ve been surfing the forum and haven’t found answers yet so could use advice.

As I recall Specialized offered 5 year support to original owners of their 1st gen bikes after switching motor supplier so that’s a good precedent.

A local ebike Specialized dealer blogged about the different motor names but tldr 1.2 is Brose T, 1.3 is Brose S
