Hey all,
Glad to be part of this community after lurking for months while determining the route I wanted to go with an ebike. I recently started commuting via bike again but always had to take the bus into work due to no showers at the office (I have lots of big hills in the Redmond/Microsoft area.) I realized I could break past that barrier with an ebike so here I am today and can successfully say that my plan is working. Even better, my ebike commute home takes just as long as it would with the car which is 45 minutes over 17 miles. This increases the number of days I can ride as I do not have the excuse for needing to drive when I need to get home quickly after work.
Also, I did a write-up of my first 70 miles commuting HERE if anyone is interested. If you are thinking about going the ebike route for commuting this should have some helpful info for you.
