click noise rear wheel

only clicks when im putting weight on the rear. spokes are tight so its not the spokes rubbing. its also not the seat. its coming from the rear wheel. the click noise disappears whenever i tilt the bike slightly to the left. any help greatly appreciated!

I would bring it to a LBS.

All you will get here are hundreds of guesses and speculation at best, from a loose fastener on the seatpost, your leg brushing a housing cable, it can literally be anything.

This is why car garages don't diagnose car owners over the phone.

problem is that its a ebike. and the only lbs near me is about 25 miles away. and they wont even look at ebikes. smh

I'm guessing it just sounds like it's coming from the rear. Check all fasteners on the saddle.

With no videos and not even the model of eBike, what else is there to say? I can't guess about much else. Does the bike have a rear hub motor? If it's a mid drive, the rear bearings may not be adjusted correctly. I'll add another guess, check the brake pads and rotor if you have those.

And that's what I'm trying to tell the OP.

They really need in-person live help, either from an experienced friend, or better a LBS.

I had a click on my rear wheel whenever I leant it to one side.
On my bike there is a sensor magnet mounted on a spoke on the rear wheel.
My magnet had twisted slightly on the spoke and was hitting the sensor pad on the frame when I leaned the bike to one side going around corners.
  • A sensor is placed on the frame symmetrically to a magnet placed on one of the spokes of the rear wheel. This device measures the frequency of the circulation of the magnet at the same level as the sensor and transmits it to the controller.

Frequency of click? Does the wheel spin rate make a difference? Does the chain have to be moving? Does it happen without riding, just spinning the wheel? These are the typical things one checks.

Is there a reflector on the rear wheel that might be loose?

if your cool with one handed riding, video tape the wheel while your riding normal and tilted this may help the guys around here to better diagnose your problem.

It is the spokes. Feel them with a squeeze and listen. It is the same sound. I diagnosed this with a bike yesterday and sent the owner to get little coffee stirrer straws to place between the crosses after they are cut into thirds and sliced longways.
