Changing Hutchinson to Schwalbe tyres

Hi there - my original Hutchinson 5 Storm tyres are coming to the end of their life and I'm thinking of replacing with bombproof Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700/32. Has anybody else done this and if so, your thoughts/experience would be much appreciated. Mick

I have been riding Marathon Plus Tires for 10 years on both analog and ebikes. This includes 4 pair over three bikes.
The environment is Phoenix AZ (very dry) and strewn with road hazards, both man made (tacks, glass) and natural (goat heads).
My mileage obtained is 10,000 to 12,000 miles but this was due to giving the bike away, not wearing them out. There is no doubt that the service life exceeds 15,000 and probable 20,000.
In total mileage of these tires approaching 40,000 I have had 4 puncture related flats.
Reliable? Oh my yes!
