Hi I have a Cannondale Moterra Neo 3, this has a very small chain ring, I was wondering if anyone or if its possible to fit a larger chainring.

Great question! Yes. Most likely it will be easy. I can help and others will join in. Please post a photo of your current chainring from the right side. It would be helpful if you placed a thin strip of tape across it that is 110mm long. That will help determine what is called the BCD for ordering the replacement. And we will see if it is a four bolt or five. Also photograph the rear gears, cassette. This will determine what chain to order. You will need a new longer chain. I have used up to 58-teeth on a chainring. For mountain bikes I often use 36. Also take a photo straight down where the chainring is closest to the frame's chain stay. This will show the clearance for a larger ring.

Bosch gen2 has a reduction gear inside(~2.5x) so the chain ring is small -looks like you have a 15T with some unknown offset.

16T, 18T and 20T with no offset are all readily available, and I think 16T and 18T with 5mm offset (for 148mm boost hub spacing) can be found - usually from the EU. Do you know what your rear hub spacing is? It looks like Cannondale has changed it over the model years and some years have an extra wide hub which probably means the chainring would be a proprietary piece with a different offset.

On larger chainrings the force is more distributed so they last longer. I figured that these chainrings had to be readily available as a maintenance item and they are. I just saw one 18t for $8.

Those would work for me but I don't think those are likely to fit the OP's bike.

I'm pretty sure his bike has a 157mm rear hub so it needs an offset chainring to maintain the chain line. I did find 1 bike shop that mentioned the Cannondale Ai offset 15T chainring is a 6mm offset.

Yes it is a 157mm hub, I think im behind my capability here, I may be better off buying a new bike.
