there was a thread yesterday with pics of an ebike that had some frame cracking problems, I was interested to see more followup. was thread removed? I won't mention the brand in case that's why it was forced to be removed

I was interested in following it as well. The OP posted 3 pics and a short description. After a few replies they removed the pics, then after a short time they removed the description and then eventually removed the thread title. These are all things a thread creator can do via the edit tools. I thought it was strange and seemed a little shady.

For whatever reason the poster changed their mind. Maybe they didn't have firsthand knowledge. The pictures were very dramatic. I'm assuming there's no real story if we don't see a firsthand report from a member.

maybe poster leveraged the company to get it fixed, then withdrew post.
I thought that posters were unable to delete a post 100%, only mods

I thought that picture allegedly of a cracked Dost Drop frame was a bit suspicious. I compared it to a picture of a current model Drop and the frame looks different. Perhaps it was an earlier model and Dost has corrected the problem??
