Catrike cyclist with new electric motor on a 2013 catrike in Vancouver B.C. Canada

Hello everyone,
Since I added the new motor and battery to my catrike I have been having many flat tires. One to two a week. I use Schwalbe Marathon plus tires and Schwalbe 30 x 1.75 inner tubes with presta valves. Any suggestions?
