Also check out rear hitch mount racks designed for motorcycles-- they include walk-up ramps for your 60+ pound toy.

The photo is of another local ebike riders setup. The ebike pictured weighs 100 pounds so I suggested that he check these racks out.. Just google "rear hitch mount motorcycle rack". Most are for just one bike, but there will be double bike carriers shown, too.
Here is a real nice rack unit to get you started: https://www.discountramps.com/motor...K-Qk3JX7T4W1lXgVofaLygOZRqiVuxSAaAmM9EALw_wcB You will also want to consider buying this item so that you can have "fold up" capability for the rack : https://www.discountramps.com/hitch..._o8heHbzke61obrfJre8pb_4xoVATQgIaAmtpEALw_wcB .. If you're really feeling adventurous, consider mating one (or more) of these to the motorcycle rack for added stability/piece of mind (also google "motorcycle wheel chock" ):

Sometimes ya just gotta think outside the box.
Oh yeah: No Cable lock devices.. A thief will cut thru it like it was a strand of pasta. Instead, use one (or more) U-locks to secure your mini Mighty Beast to the carrier rack if you plan stop along the way enroute to wherever. They (U-lock) are not expensive.. The longer the shaft arms, the better..

I tried the first rack in this thread and sent it back. No way my Allterrain Ultramax HT was going anywhere on that rack, way too flimsy for a 70lb bike. It is only rated at 30 lbs per bike.
I put a motorcycle carrier on my Tacoma and it works perfectly and only cost $110 shipped. If you leave off a couple of the silver through rods, your tires will sit down into the carrier well and make it easier to tie down and more secure. It does stick out a bit so I put orange tape on it. I throw a cable lock on it just for insurance purposes. It would be simple to cut through but my car insurance should cover it...hopefully I won't test that idea.
