Can a mid-drive Kush be ridden with throttle only?

I looked into this model, mid-drive motor doesn't have a throttle.

There is no reason that a mid drive won’t work on throttle only. Basically there is a one way bearing on the cranks that allows for the chain ring to rotate while the cranks can stay stationary.

For example all the very popular Bafang kit middrives operate throttle only, but also have a PAS. The BBSHD is capable of running at high watts for a kit system and the Ultra will also as an integrated.
