C7 Display Julet connector

The C7 has a Julet connector that looks to be 8pin.
Two questions:
1) Anyone know where to buy an extension cable? I see lots for Bafang (9-pin) but none for the 8 pin Das-Kit connector.
2) Anyone know the pinout?

I can find 8 pin female julet connectors on Aliexpress but I can't find male ones or an extension cable.

Goal is the intercept the power signal from the controller and run it through a switch that uses an on/off key. Basically I tend to leave the battery in the bike when I go into the store for a quick item and wanted to be able to lock the bike from anyone trying to use it or goof with the controls. Obviously I use a bike lock too but still don't want people turning it on or hitting the throttle, etc.

The pinout is just a nice to have; I'll figure out the wiring easily enough, one of the wires will have power on it

I'll mention too that I can do this via a 2-wire connector and hooking into the brake connector and basically making it look like the brakes are applied whenever the switch is OFF but that's not my preferred approach, I'd like the display to be totally disabled.

Likewise I can cut the wires of course but trying to leave the bike unmodified.

These guys are really good, although they're this side of the pond they're a bit closer than China. They will also make custom cables.

For what it's worth, I had the exact same concern and landed on a similar item to this. Granted I don't use it unless I'm in an area that's really not that safe, but it accomplishes the same thing, just not as elegantly as what you mentioned:

For what it's worth, I had the exact same concern and landed on a similar item to this. Granted I don't use it unless I'm in an area that's really not that safe, but it accomplishes the same thing, just not as elegantly as what you mentioned:

Nice lateral thinking! I will continue to look for the right connector as I already have the proper switch to use but that's a VERY good idea as a workaround that accomplishes the same thing AND sets the brake on too!

Thanks for the link! It does appear to be the right cable. I won't be ordering it though, I've had a couple bad experiences with Amegoev and won't deal with them further, plus with shipping that's a $50 cable from them too which is kinda steep. Regardless I at least know the cable exists if I can just find it (or the connectors to make my own).

I'm not sure Tom, I don't even know if they're still shipping to the UK due to brexit, what i do know is their workmanship is top notch, 3 of my 4 orders were custom cables and were very well made, adequately packaged and prompt, when the ultra and frame turn up i won't hesitate to order a custom harness from them.

Agreed. I have an adapter for the Grin programming cable. Grins stereo plug to Bafang controller Higo link.
Very expensive but having a 3.3 foot programming cable keeps my computer in a secure spot. I see there's a LOT of connectors no longer listed. I'm asking Doug at California eBike to see what Higo can make for resale.

Just a followup, the cable came from that amazon purchase and fits the NCM C7 and L7 perfectly, works great. If you are opening the cable sheath for any reason just remember don't trust the colors of the wires, in extension cables the colors may or may not align with any known wiring diagram. In this case the colors didn't align with any known pinout so I just had to check them all 1-by-1, no biggie but might save someone getting a surprise in future. Thanks again for the help everyone!
