Got yet another set back on the radrunner I ordered in JUNE...now tracking for NOVEMBER......enough, cancelled.

Sad...one of the few I liked.

Don't know the bike, but maybe better now than in a year, I guess :(

In retrospect, that was a pretty silly question! I have heard many bike companies are advertising vaporware (bikes they will never deliver), and the legit companies are backed way up! That is good in the long run, as the more why buy and use ebikes, the faster the state of the art will advance, and prices will drop!

"Set" Set of what?

I do not believe your reasoning as to why prices drop has great relevancy in a market where there are so few products available. Surplus drives the price down. Just don't see that happening for a very long time. It's a seller's market. Enjoy.

I cannot argue with your premise. However, increased demand creates the need for manufacturing efficiencies, bulk parts purchasing creates lower price per unit for parts, and the ability for manufacturers to expand and increase capacity and do more R&D, which ultimately should increase production, reduce costs, make more units available at a lower cost. Most manufacturers would prefer to make a smaller margin, but have a higher output.

Clearly we don't share perspectives, but that is cool! I see the "COVID World" as an opportunity. CLEARLY, if companies are back ordered 6-12 months, the "COVID World" is not impacting them too much! Granted, some activities like cruising, going to theme parks, flying and travelling, etc, are in decline, but getting outside in the fresh air is likely the #1 activity these days, and eBikes fit that very well! Yes, there are demographics that simply cannot afford an eBike, but there are plenty of others who are dying to find something fun, safe and family oriented to spend their entertainment dollars and time on, these days, having NOT spent money on those aforementioned activities! I did not take a summer vacation this year, but instead bought an ebike, and have REALLY enjoyed it! I can assure you there are plenty of COVID impacted families out there, looking for another way to spend family time, outdoors, and eBikes certainly are at the top of the list! Enjoy!

Not in a COVID world

I dunno, the other day a lady came up to me in a parking lot and asked, "Is that one of those electrocycles they give away on The Price is Right"?, so I guess Ebike ownership is now within the grasp of anyone who has access to a television.
