I just called in some heavy hitters to join. On some newer bikes a safety issue was addressed for when a throttle is accidently bumped. The controller wants to see the bike moving before giving assistance. But if the wheel magnet is out of alignment, nada.

I was hoping that @tomjasz & @m@Robertson would jump into the private message. It looks like this is not a newer bike after all and that a replacement controller is in order. Connections were checked and all are okay. The motor has been taken apart.

Oh and what LBS is eclectic enough to sort all builds?

Exactly what I done when my Monte Capro failed to power on. I loaded it up on my Tacoma called lbs and when tech asked what's wrong with it.
I said it's broke. Diagnosing mechanical issues for instance brake drag, improper shifting I fix it myself thanks to members posting their solutions.

OFFS no LBS within 200 miles will take on any eBike.

OP, More information please. Make model, do you have a multimeter? Doesn’t work isn’t enough to help trouble shoot. BTW welcome. There’s help on the horizon.
