Bosch Purion won't turn on the lights on my Cannondale Mavaro

Hi all. I'm a new member and this is my first time posting. I wonder if anyone has had similar issues with the Purion interface.

I just bought a Cannondale Mavaro Neo City (my first e-bike) but unfortunately, the lights won't turn on. The folks at the bike shop knew the lights weren't working but hadn't gotten around to figuring out what the problem was when I walked in and bought it. Now I've got to take it back in for some indeterminate length of time while they troubleshoot and try to fix the problem. If I'm lucky, they'll plug it into their diagnostic tool and fix the problem, but I'm not all that hopeful. They're getting a bunch of people together for a "pow wow". I didn't get the impression that they were confident they'd find a fix either.

I rode the bike for the first time today and loved it, and every other function of the display/computer seemed to work just fine. The manual indicates that a medium press of the "+" button turns the lights on, but on my bike it does nothing. Has anyone else had this issue crop up? If so, how did you fix it? An internet search didn't turn up any leads, so I thought I'd try here. If the guys at the shop have any luck, I'll post the solution.

This happened to me but it was bc the light itself also had a switch. So it’s the ‘+’ on the Purion and light switch on simultaneously. Don’t know which light you have but look over it carefully.

Thanks, dblhelix. I checked for a switch to no avail, so I went back to searching and finally figured out the cause. Within the system settings, the light switch status was set to "off" instead of "on" or "bike light can be switched on/off". The folks at the bike shop found the setting easily enough, but weren't able to update it, but that's another issue entirely which I posted about here.

Hi I'm new and picking up this old thread. I have a second-hand, almost new Bulls Cruiser e. It has a nice Bosch Active Line + mid-mount motor with wired in lights, but the lights don't work. I've had my LBS check to make sure the lights are enabled in the software, and there are no switches on the lights themselves. Any idea what could be wrong and how I can fix?
