Bosch Performance Speed Crank Bolt

Good day to all,

I have a Zen Samurai and so far I really like the bike. On my latest ride the bolt that holds the left crank arm onto the motor came loose and the crank came off before I could react. The crank was retrieved but the bolt was gone. Thankfully I was only a block and a half away from home. The motor is a Bosch Performance Line Speed with eThirteen cranks. Can anyone tell me what size/type of crank bolts I need for this setup so that I may source them locally? Cheers.

Not sure which crank you have, but most likely e*spec Core.

Thanks for the replies. Can you tell me what the difference is between a self-extracting bolt and non s-e bolt in this regard? Cheers

the other one requires a crank puller to get the crank off once you remove the bolt. I think that's the one you have as the bolt is retained on the self extracting one.

I looked at a photo of the Samurai, looks like it has e*thirteen e*spec plus cranks. Note the mounting bolt part number at the bottom of the photo - looks like a pretty standard m15, not self extracting.
