Up until now, if your Bosch motor failed and it's out of warranty your options were fairly limited, prey it's a main motor bearing or buy a new motor!
https://performancelinebearings.com can now repair or overhaul your Bosch motor. Repairs to circuit boards or gears are still not possible but we're working on it! If you're out of warranty and your motor is noisy, rough, grumbling or just not as sweet as it used to be? We can fully strip, clean, replace any worn or damaged bearings and O-rings, re-grease, oil and rebuild like new!

Why bother, it should last for ever right!?
Sadly no, some of the bearings in the Bosch motor use the shaft of the gear below to run on (see pics). If you just run your motor into the ground, this bearing surface will eventually become worn and damaged. These parts are currently irreplaceable. So it will pay to look after them. The gears in your motor rely on grease to lubricate them, this will, over time, wear away and pick-up contamination, this in turn creates friction and wear. Again, you can't currently buy these parts.
There is a lot of talk on forums about bike maintenance but no one considers motor maintenance? After what I have seen in these motors, it may just be worth a look?
