BOSCH CX GEN 4 FRONT CHAIN RING

Looking to change the front chain ring on my Focus Jarifa 6.7 NINE

ATM it has a one piece 36T front chain ring

Since I am going to experiment on chain ring sizes and want to do these changes quickly and easily, I was going to first change to a spider mount chain ring,
This is so I don't have to keep totally dismantling the chain ring drive to make any changes.

sadly, it seems I have two options

Do I need the NON BOOST or the BOOST version OR how do I work that out?
